A Twister Social Experiment

Toxic to the human soul…..unforgiveness. bitterness. hatred. control. self-righteousness. division. blame.
When these emotions shockingly started to flood my social media outlets, I couldn’t help but notice.  Friends of mine…..spewing such hatred and rage.  CHRISTIAN friends of mine….attacking and blaming Muslims as a whole.  Meanwhile, my Jewish friends remained quiet.
My initial response to this national uproar was shock.  [...]

So my sister and I were talking about life like we usually do late at night.  It’s amazing how much we think alike without even trying.  We constantly test each other and marvel at that.
Last night, we talked about spiritual signs.
1. DREAMS
I decided to be vulnerable and share with her that I have been fortunate [...]

I’m a believer.  Oh yes, in more ways than one.
And because I feel the need to read EVERY status in my facebook news feed (LOL), I’ve gotten to know the perils of many friends.  And I’ve gotten to read exciting victories of others.
My conclusion in collecting all of this data is that THERE IS ALWAYS [...]

“To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.” —-William Shakespeare

It’s vital for living.  Why?  Flat out, people need to be heard.  People need to be seen.  People need to know that their thoughts and perceptions matter.  They need to know that their creative ideas matter.
Creative expression is crucial for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  But just as [...]

I have a friend, Cindy.  And for YEARS….I KID YOU NOT.  She has been asking people (including me)  the question, “What would you do if you were brave?”  The question stems from the lyrics of Jana Stanfield.  The song?  “If I Were Brave”.    Cindy has signed for and been a part of Jana’s music [...]

1 Peter 4:8 (New International Version)
8Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Jesus didn’t come for those who are well.  He came for those in need of a physician.  He didn’t come for the righteous.  He came for the sinners.  He loved the lepers.  He loved the prostitute.  He loved [...]

I just had the priveledge of spending some fabulous and restful time up north with my family.   We knew that we would have quite a bit of free time so we brought along Seasons 1 and 2 of the show, “Little House on the Prairie”.
After a week of bathing myself in my all time favorite [...]
